Dealing with the realities of a life-limiting illness is challenging. Receiving compassionate, personal, at-home care during that trying time shouldn't be. That's why hospice care was created. Hospice is a special kind of care for people living with an end-stage disease when curative measures are no longer beneficial. It's not a place; it's a philosophy.

Health Care Options Hospice, Inc. care is provided by dedicated professionals utilizing a team approach. Each team member lends their expertise in developing and implementing your comprehensive care plan. The team includes:

• skilled nurses

• therapists

• home health aides,

• counselors, and

• dietary and nutritional specialists,

who work with your attending physician to deliver care that is highlighted by patient choice, careful implementation and daily communication.

We have registered nurses available 24 hours a day.

Hospice care focuses on comfort and making the end of life as soothing and reassuring as possible. If you would no longer benefit from further curative care or have decided not to pursue aggressive treatment hospice care may be right for you.

We accept or make arrangements to coordinate patient care through the following insurance programs:

• Medicare

• Medicaid

• Veterans Administration

• Commercial Insurance

• Managed Care
