Eligibility Criteria High School Students The prospective candidate must be at least 17 years of age, enrolled in a secondary educational institute within East Baton Rouge Parish, considered a senior by the high school, has a 2.5 GPA or better, recommended by the schools counselor for the internship, pass pre-employment drug screening and responsible for his or her own transportation. College Students The prospective candidate must be currently enrolled in a university or community college in the area. Candidate must retain a 2.5 GPA or better, pass pre-employment drug screening and responsible for his or her own transportation. Only candidates whom meet the specified criteria and whose applications are complete will be forwarded to Health Care Options, Executive/Senior Manager Staff for consideration. There are limited positions and department heads will hire students that best meet departmental needs.
